Veronica Carver has grown up wanting nothing more than to help people, and as a detective, she believes she is doing that the best way she can. However, when she is assigned to the case of an elusive serial killer, her worldview slowly starts to shift, and she realises that her idea of justice may not be as concrete as she once believed.
